August Fishing ActionReport Date: August 25, 2023Took several parties and families Out fishing this week. Trolling has definitely picked up. We had good action on the third reef with bonita strips with sea witches and 3 1/2 drone spoons, as well as feathers on the surface. One boat found a buoy offshore and trolling past picked up 2 mahis. We went past the same collection of buoys and caught some gaffers. On the way back to the reef we had several mahi bites out of the blue. September should start the fall sailfish run - several boats have already caught and released several large fish.
