March Madness On The Ocean

The saying is that March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb. Well we have certainly experienced the lion part. the first 10 days of March the wind howled and the seas were high. We did fish some hearty souls and the main action on live bait in the kite and riggers was large king fish, extra large bonitas with a few shark and sailfish releases.

The wind and seas have finally calmed down and the bite had persisted as King fsh, bonita, ramoras, and a few Mutton snappers off the bottom rig. We are looking forward to Mahi Mahi trips as soon as they show up.
