Miami Summer Fishing Means Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi)Report Date: July 1, 2014A family visiting Miami celebrating summer break booked the Blue Waters 2 for a morning trip. With the summer special of an extra hour free, Captain John departed from the dock at 7:00 AM. The live well was already blacked out with pilchards and herring so John ran to the stream. Right on the edge a nice dolphin crashed the rigged flying fish and the youngest angler (10 years) handled the rod, and reeled in the fish. The next four hours the crew chased the diving birds and were rewarded with dolphins, blackfin tuna and other bites.
