Santa Sailfish WishReport Date: December 4, 2014The crew of the Blue Waters 2 received a call booking one man for a four hour charter. This English gentleman really wanted to catch and release a sailfish. The bait bit well at the bent station on the way out. The customer got a kick out of catching herring on the lures. After capturing the bait, the captain ran to the south to put out the kite and the rigger baits. After a few cut offs, the long kite line screamed out and the sailfish was on. It was a 20 minute fight on 20 lb. test line with the boat and the angler working the fish. At long last, the fish was tagged and released. Several kingfish battles finished the trip and the tired angler and crew returned to the dock with pictures and smiles.
