September Fishing In MiamiReport Date: September 23, 2021September seems to be the month of transition. Children go back to school, Labor Day signals the end of summer in most of the country;, and the species we target start to change. Captain John fished several families this week. Listening to the offshore boats, the deep bite was very slow. So he decided to try trolling on the edge near the reef and up popped a good sized dolphin - the mahi hit on a skirted ballyhoo. They also captured and released a nice size barracuda that was captured on the seawitch with a bait strip, on the planer.
